Grok Bot login: how to sign in (and fix sign-in errors)
Short answer: There is no separate Grok Bot account. Open the app, choose sign in, and finish in your browser with your Cursor account. Grok Business seat holders choose "Sign in with Grok" instead.
Desktop
- Open the Grok Bot app.
- Click the sign-in button.
- Finish signing in in your browser with your Cursor account.
- Return to the app and check Settings shows your account.
Phone
Install Grok Bot from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with the same Cursor account you use on desktop.
Sign-in keeps failing?
- Update the desktop app, then sign out and back in.
- Clear cookies for cursor.com and x.ai, then try a private window.
- Try signing in at x.ai/bot with the same account.
- If the error is new, wait 30-60 minutes and retry.
Reinstalling usually does not help. If it persists, contact support with your account email, the exact error text, your platform and app version, and what you tried.
Never paste your password or a one-time code into a chat with any bot.
