AI workflows for doctors: bot drafts, people approve

A workflow is where bots pay off: the bot does the first draft, and the people with the license, the context and the accountability check it.

Documentation with an approved scribe

  1. Confirm your organization has a BAA with the vendor.
  2. Get patient notice/consent per policy.
  3. Review, correct and sign every draft note.
  4. Report errors to the vendor and your compliance team.

Make it stick

  1. Write down which tools are approved and for what data.
  2. Keep the bot's draft and the final version, so you can see what reviewers changed.
  3. For a month, mark each draft: correct, minor fix, or wrong. If "wrong" isn't rare, change the prompt or stop using it for that task.

Accuracy and ethics, every time
